Citrus fruits and teething biscuits
Noah did accept puree feeds at 7th month (with much enthusiasm might I add), and now into the 9th month, anything onto a spoon is encountered by him vigorously shaking his head and keeping his mouth zipped.
Do not get me wrong - he is showing great interest in food and eating; but he only eats/ tastes when he gets to hold the food himself in his hands. It is finger food time; another milestone apparently. Resorting to slices of orange, lime and lemon has been a citrus-roaring success accompanied with much splish-splash-squashes and hilarious sour squints and frowns. Cooked potatoes, broccoli and carrots are also hits but expect mashing more than eating.
Latest addition is teething biscuits by Healthy Times. It is the only biscuits without sugar that I could find after scrutinising over 10 or so brands. What surprise me is the hardiness (it really do not break into pieces) and Noah likes the taste it seems. The clay looking biscuit kept him from crying in the bus ride home today. The mess is not that bad honestly. Ahh yes I better go look for the one he dropped while playing in the living room. Nowhere in sight. Best look underneath the sofas. Wish me luck.
