Lullabies and provisions

Seating chilling in a sofa; up and down slides by himself, sometimes on the tummy, and also on the bum; stomping feet and spinning around; feet on feet walks/ rides; abracadabra; recognising his own bed, push-walking a wheel burrow... these are some of the new milestones this week.

We finally got down to watching music video of "Somewhere out there" this week since mummy is unable to hum and sing due to flu. If you haven't somehow guessed it, we naturally watched Judy Garland singing "Somewhere over the rainbow" and Julie Andrew and the famous songs from "The sound of music". These are my choice of lullabies.

Lyrics

Somewhere out there beneath the pale moonlight
Someone's thinking of me and loving me tonight
Somewhere out there someone's saying a prayer
That we'll find one another in that dream somewhere out there
And even though I know how very far apart we are
It helps to think we might be wishing on the same bright star
And when the night wind starts to sing a lonesome lullaby
It helps to think we're sleeping underneath the same big sky
Somewhere out there, if love can see us through
Then we'll be together somewhere out there
Out where dreams come true
And even though I know how very far apart we are
It helps to think we might be wishing on the same bright star
And when the night wind starts to sing a lonesome lullaby
It helps to think we're sleeping underneath the same big sky
Somewhere out there, if love can see us through
Then we'll be together somewhere out there
Out where dreams come true

Housing wise, Noah has pretty much adapted without a doubt to his new home environment. We now have TV in place though not connected to the antenna yet, 2 white billy shelfing and 2 brown book shelves from Rissne. The wish list remaining: a few nice cups/ mugs, a couple of cooking pots (one for popping popcorns), some more cloth hangers, magnetic hooks, more plants, some paintings or tapestry on the walls, some storage boxes for shelves and window ledge...

The most amazing provision is the "Lady of the house" rattan armchair, gifted to us from Hans and Birgit. It is like a dream come true. The style is so fitting and the white suits the furnishings. The sub-amazing provisions continues into the flea market or swap meet finds for Noah's rain and winter play suits, winter boots and the abandoned and dusty Bugaboo pram just with the frames and seat. Provisions not only in abundance, and also precise to the desire and taste.

Our heavenly father probably sees us as his babies, I was contemplating over such a thought as I immerse and indulge in the pleasures of watching Noah sleep, play and grow. These are truly the happiest days of my life, to be a parent, provider and guardian for Noah.
