Rolling stones

It is a much warmer day today 2nd week into May. Play by the man-made stream installation crowned with willows and apple trees was a rolling success.

Lots of nature play made me feel quite so stone-aged. Stacking stones, counting stones, lying on grass, chasing butterflies, planting twigs, throwing twigs, riding on sticks, crossing a small bridge, sitting on the big willow, shaking branches, plucking flowers, balancing on logs and stones, lifting stones, throwing stones, and rolling stones down the hill. Endless magical nature play.

It has been a while since we had days like this since Noah has been placed in preschool 30 hours a week while we have been pre-occupied with studies and Joakim starting his new work. More magical days like these are sure to follow.
