3 ladybirds and many wild strawberries
Fever has struck again. It started yesterday, 2 days after our swim during one of few warmer days this summer at our local beach by Tantolund. Noah either caught a cold or some bacteria. No obvious cough or flu, fever noticeable after his afternoon nap yesterday around noon measuring 37.5. It reaches its highest at 38.84 around 10pm at night as he fell asleep with the ritualistic summer Allsång singalong music Tv program.
Grandpa and grandma visited us with some food shopping to tie us over for dinner as it was not likely I could run supermarket errands with a sick child. Noah managed even with 38 degrees fever to showcase his well trained Boolibompa dragon dance at 6.30pm and of course it was the usually sunny weather in Boolibompa land. In contrast, there was some rain and cloudy in Stockholm.
Today after the noon nap, we managed 3 ladybirds, 1 butterfly, many wild strawberries, 2 bees, 1 empty snail shell, and 4 apples during the neighbourhood walk. On the way home, he mostly wanted to be carried. His temperature was 37.4 thereabouts when we got indoors around 3pm, and 37.66 before we napped. He got somewhat lethargic around 4pm and I could feel him getting warmer. Same rising pattern towards evening as yesterday as we measured a 38.16 fever and he fell asleep by 4.30pm. We will see how this night will turn out. I am hoping there would be no need to administer any children Alvedon to Noah and that he is on recovery path.
Yesterday he ate mostly fruits (2 bananas, 1 apple and 1 pear), which is great for a child with fever. Today, some pear he took (plus the wild strawberries we picked) and rather okay appetite during breakfast. Sunday night he kind of drown himself with chocolate milk, which is unusual that he wanted to drink that much chocolate milk at one go. Perhaps the weekend visit from our dear Norweigian friends Jon, Lillian, Tobias, Theodore and Tomina took much energy from him. It was lovely to see the children playing so very well together, and much! We miss you already family Lende. God bless you.
