Sleep confessions
It was a warmer day, likely our last intake of warmth and sunshine. Most of the children ponds have drained out their water in anticipation of the colder season. But we managed some water play by the fountain/square after a delicious prawn fritter Thai takeaway children's lunch for Noah. The willow gave shade as usual and only a 9-month and a 10-month was with us. Guessing most of the older toddlers are in pre-school.
Story for the month: Struggling with a 27-month that fights sleep, likelihood that he is losing his afternoon nap. With a 12-hour night sleep yesterday, he did not nap at all this day (Tuesday) and tonight he fought sleep (dancing with arms, swaying arms, lifting arms, talking, singing, playing, saying his knees hurt, removing his blanket etc.) for an hour until 8.30pm; with a 10-hour night sleep the day before yesterday, he dozed off only by 3.30pm when I had given up and took a swing into the Lidl supermarket while he was happily munching onto his 2nd apple in a row. You might have guessed it, yes he fell asleep with the more than half eaten apple in his hand. He napped until 5pm and the night sleep came surprisingly easy and cooperative at 9pm.
The new since last week is learning to kick with one leg off the ground to spin/ ride the merry-go-rounds. It started at Marabou Park last week when he ploughed through the park all to himself naked. Puzzles have also latched on firmly. The train trip to Norrköping was the proofing test as he focused through 4 puzzles in a row (cat, horse, cow, tinkerbell). Diet is not as crazy as before, although he can clock up to 4 bananas some days ever since he stop breastfeeding.
